221Buddy is a child safety monitoring service that helps parents and legal guardians monitor devices used by their children. Our service is designed for use by adults (18+) to monitor devices under their control.

A. Subscription Data (Information About You)
When you register for 221Buddy, we collect:

- Payment Information: Billing details processed by our payment providers (Stripe)

B. Monitored Device Data (Information From Devices You Monitor)
From devices you configure for monitoring, we collect data you choose to monitor, which may include:
- Text messages, iMessages, and chat conversations

- Cloud Infrastructure: AWS hosts our services and data

6. Data Retention

Subscription Data
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- After account closure, data is retained for 5 years for legal and accounting purposes

Our service collects data from monitored devices that may belong to children. As the subscriber, you are responsible for ensuring you have proper consent and authority to monitor devices and collect this data.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by requiring subscribers to be adults and by processing children's data only under parent/guardian instruction and control.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
