221Buddy is designed with privacy in mind. This article explains the controls available to you and your family.

What 221Buddy Collects

221Buddy collects activity data from your child's linked devices, including app usage, screen time, and (on supported browsers) web browsing history. This data is tied to your family account and is never sold to third parties.

Visibility Settings

From a child's profile, you can control the level of detail monitored:

• Full monitoring — App usage, web activity, screen time, and device location
• Usage only — Screen time and app names, without web activity
• Screen time only — Total device usage, no app or web details

Data Retention

Activity data is retained for 90 days by default. Adjust this in Settings > Privacy > Data Retention.

Downloading Your Data

To request a copy of all data associated with your account, go to Settings > Privacy > Download My Data.
