App Not Loading or Crashing

If the 221Buddy app or Companion app isn't working, try these steps before contacting support.

Basic Checks

1. Check your internet connection — Make sure Wi-Fi or cellular data is active
2. Restart the app — Close it completely and reopen
3. Restart the device — A simple restart resolves many temporary issues

Update the App

An outdated app version can cause crashes. Check the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) for updates.

Clear the App Cache (Android)

1. Go to Settings > Apps > 221Buddy Companion
2. Tap Storage > Clear Cache
3. Reopen the app

Reinstall the App

If none of the above steps work, uninstall the app and reinstall it from the store. Your account data is stored securely on our servers and will sync automatically after you sign back in.
